Nelson Airport

Nelson Regional Airport makes getting in to Nelson convenient and fast. The Nelson airport accommodates mostly domestic flights, with regular trips from Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington. Once you arrive at the airport, you may take a taxi or a shuttle bus to the city. InterCity is a bus company that also offers bus trips into Nelson.

Getting around Nelson is fairly convenient as they do have a number of options for transportation. Nelson has a public bus service as well as touring routes if you wish to learn about the city while you go from place to place. You can also take a taxi as they're available in Nelson as well.

    Nelson is a gorgeous town with many options to keep you entertained. You certainly are in no danger of doing the same thing twice. Nelson boasts historic buildings, wineries, museums and art galleries for the more cultured traveller and beautiful gardens and parks for those who wish to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

  • The Isel House is a must see when visiting Nelson. The tremendous home was built in the late 19th century for the largest local land owner, Thomas Marsden. The structure has incredible gardens and is quite a sight to behold.
